24” Heavy profile .224 Valkyrie rifle barrel for AR-15 rifles.
Price includes 0.875" diameter low profile gas block.
These barrels are chambered with a JGS Precision chamber reamer cut to SAAMI specs except for the neck diameter which is tightened up to .255" from the SAAMI .258" diameter.
These barrels shoot flat out fantastic.
Bison Armory recommends the updated Federal Gold Medal Match 90 grain MatchKing ammunition.

SPECS
Heavy barrels have a larger overall diameter than our mid-weight and Fulcrum barrels. These feature a 0.875" diameter at the gas block and 0.85" to the muzzle.
The 24” .224 Valkyrie heavy barrel (including barrel extension) weighs 60 oz.
All .224 Valkyrie Barrels are stress relieved 416R stainless steel and have precision made BAT Machine barrel extensions with M4 feed ramps. They are available with threaded muzzles, or unthreaded, and both are cut with am 11 degree target crown.

Optional Bolt Carrier: Carriers ship assembled and include the gas key, firing, retaining and cam pins. If you purchase a bolt and a carrier, we will assemble the complete carrier group for you before shipping. For more information on our carriers click HERE.
Optional Gas Block Pinning: Only available for low-pro gas blocks. We drill and ream precise holes in the barrel and gas block then press-fit a dowel pin through so that the block will never shift on the barrel. Most military and police weapons are pinned.
