Bison Armory is based in Washington State, in the foothills of the North Cascade Mountains. It’s really nice here, and doesn’t rain as much as people say.

 

We originally opened our shop in 2008 to support AR-15 enthusiasts using 6.8 SPC (6.8 x 43mm) ammunition. The intermediate power 6.8 SPC is arguably the ideal cartridge for the AR-15 rifle. The 6.8 SPC has superior ballistics to the two most common intermediate cartridges; the 5.56 x 45mm NATO and the 7.62 x 39mm. While muzzle energy and velocity are similar to the 7.62 x 39mm, the 6.8 SPC significantly surpasses the performance of this round throughout its trajectory.

 

The accuracy, quality and aesthetics of our 6.8 SPC products, together with our semi-custom approach to assemblies, helped us quickly gain ground in the industry. In 2011, Bison expanded its product line to include the BR-X, which is based on 7.62 x 51mm MA-TEN receiver sets from Mega Arms.

 

In 2012, we introduced our first industry innovation: the Bison Armory 6.8 BSP (Bison Subsonic Platform). This AR-15 platform features a 16" stainless steel barrel with high a twist rate that can both stabilize a 200 grain 6.8 mm bullet at subsonic velocities and handle any full-power 6.8 SPC load. As a result, the 6.8 BSP’s subsonic performance equals that of the .300 Blackout without cutting any corners on full-power function or performance.

We strive to bring you the best products and prices backed with outstanding customer service. If you’re not happy with your purchase from Bison Armory then we're not happy, and we'll do our best to make it right for you.

We recognize that ordering online can be somewhat daunting, since you can't see the products you’ve selected until after you’ve handed over your money. So here’s how we try to ensure that you are both confident and satisfied with your purchase:

Modifying Your Order

Before your order has shipped, you may call or email us to modify your order free of charge, except for any increase in the cost of your ordered items as a result of the changes you make. We will of course refund you any difference in cost if your changes cause the cost of your order to go down after your payment has been processed.

After your order has shipped, you may still modify your order free of charge within 15 days from the date you receive your items, except you will have to pay for the shipping associated with both the return of any items to Bison Armory to effect the modification(s) you request, and the subsequent shipping of the new items back to you.

You will also have to pay for any increase in the cost of your ordered items as a result of the changes you make. We will of course refund you any difference if your changes cause the cost of your order to go down. However, refunds will not be processed on any shipped items until they are returned to Bison Armory in new, unused and undamaged condition.

Cancelling Your Order

We understand that situations change and that an order placed yesterday might be a problem today if your truck dies or your child breaks an arm.

Before your order has shipped, you may cancel your order for any reason and without a restocking fee at any time. Just call or email us as soon as possible to let us know you want to cancel to avoid any costs associated with the return of the items (see below).

After your order has shipped, if you decide you need to cancel your order, then return the items (you will have to pay for the shipping) you purchased from us in new, unused and undamaged condition within 15 days from the date you receive your item and we will refund your purchase as soon as we receive your items.

We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. Like when some website glitch enables you to buy a $3,000 rifle for $11.23. In the event that we have processed your payment already, we will refund your money in full.

Performance guarantee

We guarantee our barrels, upper assemblies and complete rifles will deliver MOA accuracy or better when properly assembled and when used with quality ammunition. We've been selling our products for long enough to know what they are capable of, and they have been MOA capable since day one.

If you have any issues with the function of any item purchased from Bison Armory, call or email us right away. Most of the time, the problem can be diagnosed and resolved without needing to return the item. If the problem persists, however, contact us to arrange for the item to be sent back to us (we will pay for the round trip shipping) and we will fix or replace your item as quickly as possible at no cost to you.

General Warranty

We warrant that any item you purchase from Bison Armory will be free of material or manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date you receive the item. Please call or email us immediately to report any such defects, and we will work out a way to make it right for you as quickly as possible.
